The Cars – The Cars

The debut self-titled album by the American band The Cars was released in 1978 and became a commercial success for the band. The debut album remained on the album charts for 139 weeks and sported a host of radio singles that have found root throughout the airwaves of America. The Cars has been recognized as one of the band’s best albums and showcases hit singles such as: “Good Times Roll,” “My Best Friend’s Girl,” “Just What I Needed,” “Moving in Stereo,” and “All Mixed Up.”

Steely Dan – Countdown to Ecstasy

Countdown to Ecstasy is the second recorded studio album by the American rock band Steely Dan and was released in 1973. The album originally failed to generate any hit singles but is largely considered a critical commercial success. It was charted at 35 on the Billboard 200 during the year of release and was certified gold by the RIAA. In retrospective reviews Countdown to Ecstasy received perfect scours from music critics. Countdown to Ecstasy showcases timeless tracks such as “Show Biz Kids” and “My Old School.”
