Robocalls are so annoying. It has changed the way we answer the phone. There was a time when it was not a big to answer an unknown number. At worst it was a misdial. But nowadays, if it is a suspicious number calls your phone, it could be a spammer or robocall. And unfortunately, most of the time it is a spammer or robocall. If we answer, not only is it a waste of time but we could possibly be recorded and be put at risk for identity theft. So if the phone rings, we have to debate, is it the little league coach, the pharmacist or a Robocaller. Well, apparently there is now a solution.

A new service called Robo Revenge is now available through the app DoNoPay. This service will help you sue unwanted callers for up to $3000 per call. It is a robot lawyer app that helps its customers protect themselves from scammers. This app will appeal parking tickets, cancel services and even schedule appointments. According to the maker of the app, major companies are not protecting consumers from robocalls and now we have to take matters in own hands.

The Roboapp works by adding your phone number to a “Do Not Call” database that is operated by the Federal Trade Commission. Then it will track and identify the Robo caller’s information. You will then be guided through a process that will allow you to sue the perpetrator.

According to Gizmodo, this service will not be able to stop all robocalls but it could help.
