The monkeys have all been recovered!
According to an article posted by AP News, last Friday night, a truck pulling a trailer with 100 monkeys inside was hit by another vehicle releasing all of the monkeys in the wilds of Pennsylvania. The report stated that the cargo of monkeys had just landed that morning in New York and was on its way to a quarantine facility.
After the crash, authorities from Pennsylvania Game searched throughout the night to recover the lost monkeys and by Saturday evening, each of the 100 had been found.
The article stated that this type of monkey is commonly used in medical studies.
