Lundi Love: 205 Sports Bar and Grill in Church Point

This week on Lundi Love, Mustang 1071 is showing some love to a new restaurant in Church Point. The 205 Sports Bar and Grill is located just off David Street. It’s easy to find. It’s a family run business. They offer something for everyone.

My coworker told me about this place so I decided to fill up my tank and take the road trip to Church Point. It was super easy to find. I like the easy-going down-home atmosphere. Plus lots of smiling faces once you enter the building. After you order the first thing you get is a big ole bowl of freshly fried pork skins. Everyone gets a serving while they wait for their meal. It’s part of the dining experience. The porks skins are light, well seasoned and served with a side of vinegar. The general manager’s name is Ching and he says that he does not want anyone to be waiting hungrily at his restaurant.

The next dish I tried was the grilled chicken salad. They gave me lots of dressing. As if they knew already that I would need more. The dressing is the best part of salad! I also tried the Chicken Teriyaki. Overall, the 205 Sports Bar and Grill is a casual relaxing place to hang out and enjoy food. The menu has a range of options from burgers to wraps to fried rice or noodles.

Ching told me that he and his family really enjoy living in Church Point. They moved from the Philippines. They wanted to create a restaurant that is welcoming and a place the whole family can enjoy.

Check out the 205 Sports Bar and Grill Facebook Page.
