Schools Closed Due to Severe Weather

Schools throughout Acadiana have announced closures for tomorrow, March 22, 2022, due to the threat of severe weather. Here is a list of schools that will be closed according to KLFY NEWS.

Lafayette Parish:

Lafayette Parish School System has announced that all schools within the district will be closed including all offices and facilities.

Willow Charter Academy in Lafayette
Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy in Youngsville
Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy in Lafayette
Episcopal School of Acadiana both locations
John Paul the Great Academy in Lafayette
United Christian Academy in Carencro


Acadia Parish Schools
Calcasieu Parish Schools will be closed


Iberia Parish:
Iberia Parish Schools will be closed. 12-month employees will report to work and be dismissed at 11 a.m.
Acadiana Christian School in New Iberia
Jefferson Davis Parish Schools


St. Landry Parish:
St. Landry Parish Schools and offices will be closed
St. Landry Charter School in Opelousas will be closed
St. Martin Parish Schools System will be closed. 12-month employees will report to work and be dismissed at 11 a.m.
St. Mary Parish schools will be closed
Sugar and Spice Children’s Academy will close ALL four locations
Vermilion Parish Schools will be closed
