Two varieties of a popular antiperspirant are being recalled. Uniliever is voluntarily recalling “Fresh” and “Powder” Suave spray deodorant in the 4-6 oz. cans.
The affected products have the following UPC codes: 079400751508, 079400784902 and 079400785503.
The recall is because of potential exposure to toxic levels of Benzene. Exposure to the chemical can cause cellular breakdown and blood disorders. Prolonged exposure can cause cancer, according to the CDC. Uniliever has notified retailers to pull the product from their shelves.
