Beggars Banquet is the Rolling Stone’s seventh British and ninth American studio album. It was released in 1968 and showcases the Stones’ return to roots rock. It features hits such as “Sympathy for the Devil”, “Dear Doctor”, and “Street Fighting Man”.

Dr. John – Gris-Gris

Dr. John’s debut album Gris-Gris was released in 1968. Gris-Gris blends the New Orleans sound of rhythm and blues with psychedelic rock. It is a quintessential New Orleans sound and features hits such as “Gris-Gris Gumbo Ya Ya”, and “I Walk on Guilded Splinters”.
