Grease: The Original Soundtrack from the Motion Picture

Grease the soundtrack was released concurrently with the motion picture and starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John as not only a starlet on camera couple but also as a powerhouse duet of melodic sound. The album also features songs by “Sha Na Na” as well a vocal accompaniment by Frankie Valli of The Four Seasons. The hit single “You’re the One That I Want” featuring the voices of both Newton-John and Travolta was a US and UK No. 1 hit.

Saturday Night Fever: The Original Movie Sound Track

The soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever was released concurrently with the motion picture starring John Travolta in 1977. The soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever remains as the best selling soundtrack of all time with a chart-topping 45 million copies sold worldwide. The album has since been added to the National Recording Registry in the Library of Congress in the US for its culturally significance. The album features smash hits such as “Stayin Alive” and “How Deep Is Your Love,” performed by the Bee Gees, as well as other hits performed by Yvonne Elliman, Walter Murphy, and KC and the Sunshine Band.
