Creedence Clearwater Revival

The debut album by the American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival was a self-titled album released in 1968. Although the album was not critically acclaimed at the time of release, it nonetheless led the band to success as a chart debut. It was not until later when the self-titled debut would gain critical acclaim for showcasing the talent of the band’s songwriting capabilities. Creedence Clearwater Revival sports a handful of hits such as: “I Put a Spell on You,” “Susie Q,” and “Porterville.”

The Young Rascals

The Young Rascals released their self-titled debut album in 1966 to instant chart success. The album quickly rose to number 15 on the Billboard Top LPs and number 10 in Cashbox. The album mostly consisted of cover acts performed by the band but nonetheless became timeless hits by The Young Rascals. This album reached gold certification by the RIAA and has hit singles such as: “Slow Down,” “Just a Little,” “I Believe,” “Good Lovin,” “Like a Rolling Stone,” “Mustang Sally,” “I Ain’t Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore,” and “In the Midnight Hour.”
