Paul McCartney – McCartney

Paul McCartney’s debut solo album is McCartney released in 1970. During the initial release the album received an overwhelming unfavorable response by critics in part due to McCartney’s involvement with the breakup of the Beatles. Nonetheless McCartney’s self-titled debut garnered a lot of commercial success and increased publicity surrounding the Beatles breakup. McCartney boast a selection of timeless singles such as: “The Lovely Linda,” “That Would Be Something,” “Every Night,” “Junk,” “Teddy Boy,” “Singalong Junk,” and “Maybe I’m Amazed.”

Wings – Venus and Mars

Venus and Mars was released in 1976 as the fourth studio album by Wings. It was preceded by Band on the Run and continued the resounding commercial success of the band. The commercial success of both Venus and Mars as well as Band on the Run sparked a worldwide tour for the band. Venus and Mars showcases such singles as: “Venus and Mars,” “Rock Show,” “Love in Song,” “You Gave Me the Answer,” “Magneto and Titanium Man,” “Letting Go,”  “Call Me Back Again,” and “Listen to What the Man Said.”
