John Cougar Mellencamp – Uh-Huh

Uh-Huh was released in 1983 and is the seventh studio album by the American singer John Cougar Mellencamp. It was the first album by Mellencamp released with his real last name. A quick commercial success for Mellencamp, Uh-Huh charted at number 9 on the Billboard 200 and hosted 3 hits that all charted in the top 15. Uh-Huh features hit songs such as: “Crumblin’ Down,” “Pink Houses,” and “Authority Song.”

 

Bob Seger – Night Moves

Bob Seger’s ninth studio album Night Moves was released in 1976. Night Moves was also the first album in collaboration with the Silver Bullet Band. Night Moves was an instant success with critics and garnered Seger national fame. Night Moves would be certified gold by the RIAA initially and would be the first Seger album to go platinum and eventually sextuple platinum. Night Moves hosts a handful of singles such as: “Rock and Roll Never Forgets,” “Night Moves,” and “Mainstreet.”
