If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19 and need testing, there are several Federal COVID-19 Drive-through testing sites available in Acadiana.
No ID is needed for testing but registration is required. It is strongly recommended that individuals seeking a test, pre-register. Complete the registration at DoINeedaCOVID19test.com Click “Louisiana” under test locations, choose the desired date and site.
Registration is permitted at the site. Those who register upon arrival can expect a longer wait time. Testing is available for any Louisiana resident 5 and older. Guardians must be present for anyone under 16 years old. Testing is open to everyone.
The testing sites are drive-thru. The test will be self-administered using a nasal swab. A member of the testing staff will observe and collect the sample.

It is expected to take three to five days to get test results.
People who test positive will also be contacted by phone. There is no phone number for people to call to get their results.
