Apple TV’s are so cool. You can do all sorts of high tech stuff with an Apple TV. It’s a television that is also a streaming media player. You can play games and use apps. And actually, one big reason some people love their Apple TV so much is the ability to connect the iPhone and mirror the screen. This allows users to view their personal videos and photos. So this way, you have an instant slide show of last months vacation. Well, don’t feel left out if you don’t have an Apple TV. You can actually do this very same thing with your Roku Device.

According to Business Insider, the Roku device has the ability to mirror your phone. All it takes is some adjustments in the settings.

Here’s what to do:

Open up Roku and select “settings.”

Then select “System” and then click “Screen Mirroring.”

Next, you will have to make sure “Prompt” or “Always Allow” is checked.

Now, you will need to download the Roku app and connect your phone to the Roku device.  Keep the app open and look at the bottom from the “photo+” section. Click there.

Pick whatever content you want to share on the screen. You add photos, music, and video. You make a slideshow and adjust the speed.
