The Delcambre Shrimp Festival is one of Acadiana’s biggest. It’s just days away. There will be a Shrimp Festival Blood Drive Tuesday, August 15th, at the Texaco Fuel Depot from 2 – 6 pm. Festivities kick off Wednesday at 6:30 when the concessions and street fair open. Wednesday admission is free.
It’s bracelet night. There will be music by Matt Castille. Thursday & Sunday also feature free admission. The festival features musical entertainment from Swampland Revival, Jamie Bergeron, Wade Hayes, Clay Cormier, Krossfyre, The Beau Young Band, Dustin Sonnier, Neal McCoy, and Ryan Foret & Foret Tradition. There will be a shrimp cookoff.
